It’s been a while but the Cigar Profiler project isn’t dead – yet. It has proven to be impossible for me to secure financing for a full-fledged web application, so I decided to become a programmer myself. Since I only know Pascal from my younger days in a previous century (literally) and a little bit of VBA from my equally ancient experience with Microsoft Access, my options were limited.

e-Hygrometer update

Cigar Profiler at the Dutch Big Smoke 2015
Yesterday. the Dutch Big Smoke event was held in Rotterdam and Cigar Profiler was present with a stand to showcase the website design. The organizers had given me an excellent spot next to cigar legend Rocky Patel.

Herf with Rocky Patel
In a drive to boost his brand in Europe, Rocky Patel makes regular appearances at various cigar venues. Last Wednesday he came to my town, Veenendaal, once renowned for its short filler cigar industry (1887-2007).
